I feel like a broken record always saying the same thing about the pictures but they are awsome. In fact I would have to say you always seem to capture the very best these countries have to offer; the pictures so beautiful it is hard to believe any other conditions exist. I continue to be amazed at the contrast between the simplicity or harshness of the living conditions in these countries and the ornateness and magnificence of the stupas and temples from India and Myanmar. Just incredible. I go back and look at these images again and again. Love you.

I forgot to add how much I loved the picture of the grasshoppers. Thank you. I should print that one, enlarge it and put it on a plate for Dad. Also the Buddha picture is incredible. His Feet are wonderful and I even used a magnifying glass to see if I could see the elephants. I just love it.

The pictures are just fabuulous as usual. I love the picture of Gyi (I use this abbreviated name for him haha). I hope you were able to get a closeup of some of the engravings on his feet, especially one of an elephant. The grasshoppers are rather disgusting, but a neat photo at that. My roommate has an intense phobia of grasshoppers and I when I let her view the one you captured, she shrieked in disgust haha:) Also, the market street is a great photo. I enjoy the photos you take of everyday people and structures in the busy streets as much as I do the magnificent architectural wonders. Sometimes I like these impromptu photos better, because they really capture the everyday daily lives of the indigenous people.
