HOW FUNNY! While I was posting on the written blog and complaining about the lack of those wonderful pictures, you were posting the wonderful pictures. It is a good thing I always go back to the main site or I might have missed them tonight. So beautiful, just so beautiful; the pumpkins of course. Ha ha, just kidding. No really, your outfits are magnificiant and not what I expected either. I guess I just didn't know what to expect but even in the photos I think they are exceptional and am glad you had them made.Which pumpkin did you carve Megan? Haha! They look like the ones on Martha Stewart's show today. Love ya! Mom
Hello Pretty Princesses. The neighbors dressed as the Lundy Twins - how wonderfully clever! Those Jack-o-Lanterns were spectacular, and I thought Timmy could do a great carving. Something for him to attain. Please tell me that you're bringing me a betta fish from the paddies...... Timmy is anxious to see your Vietnam photos. He flew in the copters to help bring GIs out and could at times appreciate the beauty of the jungle. I was on 4 Hawaiian isles in '73 and Maui and the port of Lahaina were my favorite - and I tell you this to say that there was NOTHING in some of these areas. The plan was for a Sears to be built in Maui and people were protesting, but some were swayed b/c of the opportunity to purchase underwear without leaving the island. You will certainly tell quite a different story. Did you see a Burmese python in Mayanmar? ohhhh. We sat on the porch for our Tricksters last night and were rather nostalgic about having such fun with all of you On the Street, not so many years ago. You as Doublemint Twins, Nick as the Energizer Bunny, and Natalie as a witch. We wish smooth sailing for you and keep the pics coming. Love and hugs to you!
Well, this is the third time I have tried to post a comment and the last two times I lost them. Frustrating to say the least. Anyway good afternoon girls. I know you are getting your beauty sleep right now. Heather, last night I decided we should build a stupa in the back yard. It could be positioned so you could gaze upon it from the back window in your bedroom. What do you think? I guess we won't hear as much from you until you get to Vietnam as shipboard life is pretty routine, in a good way of course. Good luck on your Global Studies test which I believe is soon. In fact I looked at your itinerary yesterday and the number of days at sea are considerably less so classes must be approaching that winding down mode. Get plenty of rest in the next couple of days because you have alot of exciting excursions ahead of you.More later. Love Mom
Girls, the pictures are so cute!! Your dresses are just absolutely beautiful. I don't have a lot of time to comment; however, I wanted to say that I did receive your postcard from Mauritius on Monday!!! So that was very exciting. I'm super busy, exam tomorrow, flying to see Shan this weekend. Until next time, I look forward to reading about Vietnam and Cambodia. Take care! Love ~Ashley:)
