What a sight for sore eyes!!!!!! You both look wonderful; great; fantastic. I can't wait to get home to tell dad that there is finally a picture. I guess you figured out what the problem was. Anyway it is finally Friday and the weekend is here. But I know for you that still means classes and by Sunday preparations for arriving in South Africa.I am also aware of the bigger time difference now which I think is five or six hours ahead of us. On a more serious note, our country is again preparing for a very large category four hurricane due to hit the east coast of Texas and Louisiana. Most of the towns along the coast have evacuated and even New Orleans may suffer some additional ocean surges which could cause more flooding and damage to an area already devastated. If the effects from this storm are as severe as they think it will be our country will have its hands full. Rebuilding from Katrina was already an astronomical undertaking. Add to that the destruction from Rita, this current storm, and it seems an overwhelming task that the government can't handle. On a lighter note I hope your bathing suits are smelling better. I notice the seas are calmer and the air temperature according to the position report is about 68 degrees. Makes me wonder what the weather will be like in South Africa. I invision hot but perhaps not and will be interested to hear if the temps are milder. Keep those posts and pictures coming. Love you and miss my tv buddies. Mom
Thank goodness for another picture. I keep looking under your "Photos" link on the website, but I always see that one picture of your boat! I hope classes are going well for you guys. Keep up with your schoolwork, as I know you guys will. I am participating in a 5K run tomorrow, so it should be interesting, given the fact that I have not been running in quite a while. Hang in there until South Africa and keep the pictures coming:)
What a great surprise this morning! A phone call from our daughters as they near the next destination of South Africa. I am not sure as it was quite early here when the phone rang and we were still in neverland. I thought I heard some elephants in the background but I realized it was only me still snoring and mom was getting all the phone time. We have decided maybe an excursion to Madagascar or the Maldives may be some ideas to try should the opportunity present itself. Once you hit land in South Africa, don't slow down and do everything you can. Remember to buy us lots of presents, and of course a couple for you as well. We both send our love.
Your Mom gave me your blog site. What an experiece you are having. I am enjoying reading about your adventures. Have a great time and enjoy every minute of the trip.
